The heartbeat of Trunk & Soul is "Grandma Lun", born in a traditional Mahout village in Surin. 30 years ago, she brought her passion and her first elephant to Phuket, working tirelessly with a dream: to build a true, safe, and happy home for her elephants.
This place is not a business; it is the realization of her lifelong love.

Our elephants are a part of our family here. They are not wild elephants; they are our sisters. Raised by our family since they were young, they are extremely gentle and love human interaction. They enjoy hugs, love posing for photos, and are always happy to welcome new friends with a genuine smile.

Her Story:
Merry is the heart of our herd. She moved to Phuket with Grandma Lun when she was just one year old, growing up alongside our human family. As the "Big Sister," she naturally takes on the role of the leader. She is incredibly intelligent and acts as a foster mother to little Kratin, always watching over her with love.

Merry has a soothing presence that calms everyone around her. She loves physical touch and often stands perfectly still to let you wrap your arms around her trunk. She is the definition of a "Gentle Giant" who makes everyone feel safe and loved.

At 9 years old, Kratin is full of teenage energy! She is the little sister who brings laughter to our home. If there’s water or mud nearby, you can be sure Kratin will be the first one in. She is extremely friendly, loves checking guests' pockets for snacks, and is always ready to make a new friend.
